General Remodeling

Every house has a project. Some are small and then there are others that require a loan. Regardless of the complexity of your project, we can do the job for you.

As always, we look out for your bottom line.

As fall is upon us, now is the time to start thinking of those inside projects. Updating you kitchen or bathrooms will add value to your home.

What do you want to do with your basement?

Porch Work
Porch prior to reconstruction
Remodeled porch landing
This rear porch was on the verge of collapsing. All of the interior structure was rotted from years of water damage. We rebuilt the header and replaced the supporting wall with two fiberglas columns. Although the finished product is not an "enclosed porch, the homeowner gets more use out of the openness of this south facing porch.

Although this porch is now yet complete, we were able to avert a potentially dangerous situation. The existing column we seriously rotted and the header was basically saw dust. As with the other porch shown here, this porch structure was subjected to years of water penetration and this caused the entire supporting structure to rot. We replaced the header, replaced the columns and rebuilt some of the brick piers. To top it off, we replaced the framing members of the deck and added mahogany decking. We are still waiting on the handrail system to arrive.

Opening the proverbial"can of worms"

Home owners must keep an open mind, and sometimes an open wallet, when it comes to projects around the house. During the demolition phase, we found that these sill plates and the rim joists were nearly completely rotted. This had to be addressed before we could proceed. Hidden damage is almost always found when it comes to our outdoor projects.

FROM THE OWNER

Profile photo of Bob Johnson

Hello...My name is Bob Johnson, and as the owner of RI Renovations,I'd like to welcome you to my site

We enjoy designing and building decks. Our decks are built to last. All of the materials we use are designed to last for many, many years. We look at it this way; You spend so much time at your house, why not invest a little into making your backyard a mini paradise? It is amazing how much a deck can do for your own inner self. Think about how much you would spend on a vacation. Now, think about how much time you would spend in your hot tub or just sitting or entertaining on your new deck. The vacation is a one-time investment for a single relaxation period. The deck is for as long as you own your home. Like I said; "we take pride in making your house a home".

Hope to hear from you.
